Vegetable and Flower CSAs

We offer a weekly vegetable CSA every summer through Sol Flower Farm.

Vegetable Season Dates

The share begins in June and lasts 22 weeks, through early November. Shareholders are notified in May when the season will kick off.

Boxes are delivered weekly to CFSBK on Wednesdays. Pick up is 6-8:30 PM.

What You'll Get

Sol Flower Farm grows a wonderful variety of organic vegetables, and your weekly box will reflect what's in season that week. Each box contains between 8-12 different vegetables. Here's the crop list.

Vegetable Share Frequently Asked Questions

How can I get in contact with Sol Flower Farm?

How do I pick up my share?

Bring your own bag or box to the gym every Wednesday between 6-8:30 PM. If you can't pick up your share yourself, you can ask a friend to pick it up for you.

Can I buy a half share?

The Farm doesn't sell half shares, but you are welcome to find someone to split with. Post on the blog to search for a friend to split with, and email Michele for help at mignyc (at)

We also set up a "swap box" for CSA members each Wednesday. Use the box to donate any items you don't care for, and to pick up anything others may have donated.

Can non-CFSBK members get in on the CSA?

Is there a fruit CSA?

Not at this time.

I'm not sure I know how to cook all those vegetables!

You can check The Daily Paleo for ideas and recipe suggestions.

What happens if I can't make it to the gym during the 6-8:30PM pickup window?

All food must be picked up between 6 and 8:30 PM. The gym cannot store anyone's share; it is the responsibility of each member to pick up their share, or else send someone on their behalf. Many people send friends to pick up their share if they can’t. If you neglect to pick up your share, the food will be distributed to gym members that evening.
